General on connection strings

The Connectstring you specify when you call oConnection.Open is no doubt pretty hard to deal with. It is also critical, since if you make a mistake you might not be able to connect to your database. The reason why it is so complex is simply because it need to. ADO is supposed to be an universal way of connecting to various datasources, and I bet you can imagine the underlying differences there must be for a connection to a SQL Server database and a connection to an Exchange email server.
